The GAMES project aims to develop innovative teaching methods involving games, and better learning and participation for students with special education needs, to strengthen their skills and knowledge. GAMES also aims to develop the teachers and students skills through a series of case studies that will result in a teacher’s guide, which will help supporting the use of games in education.
Project owner Buckinghamshire County Council, in the UK collaborate with University College of London, and Stoney Dean School in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. In Sweden GR Utbildning work together with Interactive Institute and Lexby school in Partille.
The project is partially funded with support from the European Commission’s Erasmus + program. The project runs from September 2015 – August 2017.
